Nancy and I are working on a little craft project, so we went to Archiver's to get some paper on Wednesday night. This place has so many options - texture, shimmer, shine, glitter, every color you can imagine - yet we had such a hard time finding exactly what we wanted! I think we got some good stuff though. Results of the project to come...

On Sunday, Mom, Gina, Cooper and I went to the big American Science and Surplus tent sale. Haven't been? Check it out. It is such a crazy store. Gina and Mom got a lot of doodads and thingamajiggies for next to no money...and I got a new tripod for $15! yipeeee!

Target is selling these vintage toys and I'm not sure how I feel about it. On the one hand - I loved seeing that telephone and that carry around tv thing. It warmed my heart for a moment thinking about my childhood. But then I realized the only reason these things were probably made were to appeal to adults like me who feel nostalgic about them, so they buy them for their own children. Sneaky toy companies!

We had such a nice Sunday. Got up early. Did a little run/walking. Made a return at Bed, Bath and Beyond, got some essentials at Target. Made a delicious dinner on the grill. Finished it off by watching The Hills (ok, only I watched The Hills). Should I admit I cried? Oops. Just did. I don't really even care that it is all fake and I know everything that is going to happen before the show airs. (thanks to the tabloids) I still truly love it. Not going to lie either, kind of pumped about Kristen Cavallari next season.

Woah.

I took a stop at my friendly neighborhood DSW on Monday to get some shoes for Dizzy's wedding. I came out empty handed, but I did find these gems in the clearance section.

I understand if my goth ensemble is preventing you from seeing these beauties in all their glory. They are tall insulated Nike boots with fur and ball tassles at the top.

Oh yeah.

They were kind of cool actually, in an ugly sort of way...and also 70% off.

Meghan came to town Saturday to spend the day with Tom and I. We had lunch at Dotty's, did a little shopping on State Street and then made our way to Hilldale. I had to snap a pic of Tom in front of his favorite store while we were there. Look how happy he is to be there! Ha! We only tease because we love, Tom.

Gotta be honest, this was a TOUGH day to only pick 1 picture. There was one of Meghan holding up a teeny tiny shirt...that was not meant for a baby. Dang rules. I'm standing my ground. Only 1 pic.

Jon and I went grocery shopping on Thursday night. We were thinking of getting one of those rotisserie chickens to bring home for dinner, but they were out. Luckily, our grocery store guarantees they will have chickens available from 4-7 or you get a free one!

That's not the point of this story though. Look at how that chick spelled rotisserie! I mean, she didn't even try.

Ummm, did you know that Lacoste has a home line? I'm slightly obsessed with Lacoste. Let's ignore that I own like 1 item from this brand and that it is typically way out of what I consider affordable...I still can't resist that little alligator!

Tom and I were at Macy's on Tuesday and I made him be my model while we were both dying over all of the goodies.

And let me tell you that every single sheet, pillow, towel, bath mat, robe, etc. have that little signature alligator embroidered on to it.

I die.

It makes me want to redo our bathroom into a preppy Lacoste wonderland.

I met Meghan at the mall on Sunday and got a little tempted to buy this sweatshirt at H&M. I love the cowl neck! They didn't have any good colors in my size though, so I left empty handed...and I'm not buying stuff for myself. However, my birthday is coming up. I wear a size 8. And I liked the brown or white. (hint hint)
