We took the day after our anniversary off so we could have an extended weekend of fun. We layed by the pool and for most of the day, we had the whole pool to ourselves. I remember being really pumped about that as a kid - and you know what? As a 28 and 31 year old, we were still pretty pumped. Some things never change.
My week long vacation - Day 1. Well, actually it is technically day 4 since I had off Friday for the 4th.
I spent pretty much all day poolside listening to K. Chesney (obsessed) and reading New Moon. Glorious!

Saturday was HOT! I had plans to finally lay by the pool all day. I haven't been able to do that once this year yet! I was pumped.
Except when I got there, the pool was closed...and it wasn't going to reopen until Wednesday.
I still decided to sit by the pool and read, but it was so hot and the pool was taunting me to come in to cool off. Since I was practically melting, I went back home.
Total buzzkill.
