It was an upsetting loss.

Yesterday was both super sad and extremely exciting. Extremely exciting because my first nephew was born! Super sad because Brett Favre retired. I will admit to not being the hugest football/Packer fan, but I enjoy watching the game from time to time on a Sunday afternoon. I am sure a lot of that enjoyment has had something to do with BF also. And for the past 16 years he was our quarterback. This is over half my life. The only other quarterback I remember seeing was Don Majkowski.

I am not as sad as most people, trust. I mean, this was going to happen. He has been threatening us for years. Now that it is here though, I can't help but be a little disappointed. I think it is because he was sort of the quarterback of all quarterbacks. The most seasoned, held the most records, started every game, won us a Superbowl, etc. All that and he was ours. We are proud of him and are sad to see him go.
