I think I have seen almost every episode of Say Yes to the Dress at this point and I love it so much. I actually kind of was rooting for that salesgirl, Claudia, even though she made a lot of excuses. My question though is, why do so many people love/want this dress?!?
I have seen it on at least 4 episodes and brides are practically ripping it off other brides while they are still trying it on. It is so awful to me. I just hate the crazy ruffles, low skirt, see through, scandalousness of it. I'm sorry, Pnina Tornai. I really am.

I could not agree with you more. I have also seen every episode (although I always want to slap Claudia in the face). When I saw everyone going crazy over that dress I just didn't get it. A see-through bodice? Really? Maybe my taste is out of style, but if that dress is in style, I'm fine being un-stylish!
I think it is the see through bodice that I really hate most. It is just so bad, I can't even handle it.
maybe it is better in person? It sure doesn't look good on camera...or in pictures.

THANK YOU! I'm so happy to know someone agrees with me. Everytime I see another bride trying that dress on I think, "Who wants to be looking at photos of their mom or grandma from her wedding day and see that?!?" It is the opposite of classy. It's like the booty shorts of wedding gowns. It looks like really expensive white trash.

EW! I do not get the see-through bodice trend. It seems so trashy and skanky. I don't mind a little sex appeal in a wedding dress, but that just seems WRONG. Grandparents will see that! Save the sheer for the wedding night.
PS. I love the Manolo blogs, and I was pretty excited to see you linked on Manolo For The Bride today. I was like "I 'know' her!"

Oh I hate that dress...everyone LOVES it. Even my fiance asks who would want that dress. I'm so glad I'm not the only one.

The dress is hideous.
The see-through bodice is the most awful wedding trend ever. Why? Why would you want a dress that shows off your stomach. Through lace? Ugh.
I always wonder who would ever wear them.
That dress is so so so bad. The women who wear this dress will have to look back on their wedding photos in regret for the rest of their lives.
